Karma Yoga

Karma Yoga is the yoga of action, of the action. The word karma means action. Karma-yogi sits in everyday life and takes this circumstance as a means to achieve self-realization.

The karma (the law of cause and effect) is entered by performing selfless work. This form also includes the concept: seva, Sanskrit word for selfless service.

It is one of the main branches of yoga and is described in the Bhagavad Gita: the only work you have the right, never the result.

Do not let the fruit of the work your motive, nor be attached to inactivity (Bhag Gita, II. 47); So do the work that needs to be done, steadfastly and without attachment. For the man who does his work without attachment, reaches the highest (Bhag. Gita, III, 19). Share your experience and knowledge of Karma Yoga.
