Javamukti yoga Jivamukti Yoga where the physical, moral and spiritual routine combined with intensive Hatha Vinyasa yoga in style with five key principles including meditation, music, devotion and non-harming. The Jivamukti Yoga method is a style of yoga created by artist David Life and Sharon Gannon dancer and musician in 1984.

Jivamukti is a physical, ethical and spiritual form of yoga, combining a powerful hatha yoga, vinyasa-based physical style adherence to five core principles: Shastra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahimsa (non-harming) nada (music), and dhyana (meditation). Jivamukti Yoga has developed a reputation as the chosen style of yoga many celebrities, including Dutch as Sophie Hilbrand. In 1986, they traveled together to India and undertook the Sivananda teacher and met Swami Nirmalananda. On their return, they opened the first Jivamukti Yoga Society in New York.
